Bankers Association of Zambia Chairperson

Chief Executive Officer – Stanbic Bank Zambia Limited

Mwindwa Siakalima is Chief Executive for Stanbic Bank Zambia Limited, a member of the Standard Bank Group of South Africa.  

Prior to his appointment as Chief Executive, Mwindwa worked with Stanbic Bank Zambia Limited for 10 years as part of the Bank Leadership team, having served in Senior Finance roles and as Chief Financial Officer. He has previously served as Vice Chairperson and Treasurer of the Bankers’ Association of Zambia. He is also an Executive Director and member of the bank’s Board of Directors. He also serves as Board member of the Zambia Electronic Clearing House and is a Council member of the Zambia Institute of Banking and Financial Services. Mwindwa’s career spans over 23 years in Banking, FMCG and Auditing.

Mwindwa is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA). He also holds a BA Degree in Accounting & Finance and an MBA in Finance from The University of Manchester.
